# Fulcrum — A complex WordPress site, now edited by an AI agent

> An edit in 5 minutes instead of several days

- **Client:** Fulcrum — a product development agency
- **Website:** fulcrum.rocks
- **Industry:** Agencies & IT
- **Who uses it:** Oleksii Sekundant, CBDO
- **Format:** An agent inside Claude's interface, connected to their WordPress
- **Timeline:** ~3 weeks from scoping to handover

## The problem

Every edit went to a freelancer: a banner, a new case, a copy update. Days of waiting for a slot to open in someone else's schedule — for every small thing. And then the freelancer simply disappeared. Fulcrum's site isn't the kind you just log into and change: self-hosted WordPress with a custom theme, ACF and its own content types. Oleksii was left blocked, with a site nobody was running.

## What it does

We built an agent that learned their design system — every block their case and service pages are assembled from, the brand rules, the tone of the copy — and can publish on the site: new cases, new pages, copy edits. It lives right inside Claude's interface, wired to all the context it needs, and builds pages from the theme's own blocks rather than improvised markup. An edit now looks like this: ask the agent → look at the draft → confirm or say what to change → published. Minutes, not days.

- Knows their design system block by block: 10 blocks that case pages are built from, 18 for service pages, plus the tone of voice in two registers
- Builds new cases and service pages from their own theme blocks, so the page looks like the rest of the site
- Copy edits on any page of the site, with a revert if something goes wrong
- Reads the live field schema before every write: if the team changed the site, the agent doesn't break a page blind
- Navigation, theme templates and global styles are deliberately off limits — and it says so out loud instead of quietly refusing

## Result

- **<5 minutes per edit** — From the message to the published change. It used to be days of waiting for a freelancer's slot.
- **Whole site within the agent's reach** — Pages, cases, services, team, resources — copy and images everywhere, not just in a couple of templates.
- **19 scenarios tested** — That's how many tests the agent passed on the live site before we handed it over.
